Hubo un regionalismo o localismo franquista? En los fascismos europeos persistió un discurso y una praxis de la pluralidad etnoterritorial. En España, el fascismo se vinculó desde sus orígenes a una reacción contra los nacionalismos subestatales, así como a un anhelo por reestructurar la relación histórica entre Estado y nación. Aquí se analiza el papel y puesta en escena de las identidades subnacionales, tanto regionales como locales, por parte del fascismo español y del régimen franquista, y se profundiza en sus modalidades de adaptación, lo que más tarde se denominaría regionalismo sano
